We feel blessed to walk in the footsteps of ‘Bio-Boerderij De Loods’ in Aalst and being able to nurture the land like they did. It is a dream come true but also a big adventure. But then again, you only live once.
De naam „Baghcha“ is afkomstig uit het Perzisch en betekent letterlijk „tuin“ of „kleine boomgaard“. Het woord heeft zich verspreid over Centraal- en Zuid-Azië en verwijst naar een groene ruimte waar planten, geuren, smaken en mensen samenkomen. Dat is precies wat wij willen doen.
Turning this piece of land into an edible paradise where people can meet and smell, hear, taste how nature really feels like. From September onwards, you’ll be able to discover a unique collection of eetbare, biologisch gecertificeerde, zeldzame en exotische planten. Waiting for you to take them home.

Meet Baghcha at the Tuindagen van Beervelde
Baghcha means “small garden” or “orchard”: a place where plants, scents, flavours and people come together. At Bio-Boerderij De Loods in Aalst, we’re growing a unique collection of certified organic edible plants. From unusual herbs and berries to fruit plants, we love showing how much you can grow, even in a small garden.
On 9, 10 and 11 October, we’re bringing a selection of our plants to the Tuindagen van Beervelde. Come and meet us, explore the collection and share what you dream of growing.
